I like the lineup.  If Scioscia plays Hamilton, he's an idoit.  If Scioscia doesn't play Hamilton, he's an idoit.

Didn't Hamilton state that he has troubles seeing the ball during day games? That's probably why he's not starting. At this point I would rather see a lineup of players hungry to be with the team next year and not a gurantee because of their contract.

Moving past all of the stupid bs, Buehrle doesn't have very good numbers this year (4.27 ERA, 1.30 WHIP), but he hasn't allowed any runs in his last two starts (16 IP) and the Angels have struggled against LHP's this year. I wouldn't be surprised if the Angels hitters struggle against him today.

Calhoun is being disciplined for not being a team player and being a show off  by having back to back games with a home run.  Scioscia wants him to sit at the bottom of the order and think about how selfish of a player he's been.

 

He is making progress, though. Mike Napoli used to get benched for producing too much.
