After we missed out on Greinke I had little objection to Moreno/Dipoto doing almost nothing last offseason. Turns out that would have been a better result than the whole Hamilton situation (We might have had the financial flexibility to make a move for a positoin of need, like pitching)

It certainly means an interesting offseason coming up if Calhoun can continue to impress.  We may have the trade chips we need to land at least one solid young SP.

It would be cool if Calhoun materialized.  Hamilton isn't going anywhere, but the Angels could use Trumbo or Bourjos to get a decent starter.

I know Calhoun has played a handful of games at 1B.  Anyone who has seen him -- is he serviceable or a Brendan Harris there?   If it's the former, it makes Trumbo pretty expendable.
