No doubt it's early but... have you looked at his minor league numbers?  Calhoun playing well only validates expectations rather than defying them.

Eh, the point is both of them have been expendable for awhile and we have other options that fit better with this roster. While Dipoto may not have got blown away with a package that has been proposed to him, he may also be overrating them just a little.

It's been awhile since Calhoun played 1B in the minors on a somewhat regular basis. Can he do it in the big leagues? If so, Trumbo's days are numbered, not Bourjos'

 I know its only Jays pitching, but this seems to be a different club with Calhoun and Schuck...they  give it everything they have.

It's awesome to see Calhoun tearing the cover off the ball. But let's give him at least a month or two of big league experience before we assume he's going to have a great career.
