It was Rhett. Rhett didn't say Arte didn't like him but that Arte made it very clear he had no desire to even entertain the idea. With Arte, history shows that he will not change his thought on the topic when he was that cut and dry right off the bat.

Remember when Bauer teased he would sign with the Angels? Imagine if he had and how this place would go nuts about the suspension and release. In retrospect, had that taken place, Moreno would have not backed out of selling the team.

I fully understand the concerns. The guy isn't the type of personality I would want to hang with. Just wish Arte would have asked his leaders in the clubhouse as that's what really matters. If the clubhouse wasn't for it than you don't entertain it.
