Congrats. I retired a little over 8 years ago, and yes that feeling of freedom can't be beat. You now get paid to stay home, and do whatever you want to do.

Congratulations! Enjoy your time. You've earned it. 

I've  been in that state for a few years. And have been able to indulge in my hobbies, do a ton of reading and write a couple of books(still in progress). And even work out more in my home gym. 

From my experience I found some people are at loose ends. But others pursue all kinds of interests.
