Washington lost, Cardinals won again.  Angels still in 7th draft position, but only one game behind the Cards for 6th. 2.5 behind Washington now. Mets and Pirates are both two games behind the Angels, so they're looking pretty good to hold onto 7th or better.

Considering the schedule the Angels could very well go 3-9 to end the season. I'm not counting on more than four wins at most.

Washington won and St Louis is gonna lose. Angels are one game out of the 6th draft position and 1.5 out of the 5th. Mets also lost, so they remain two back of the Angels for 7th.

Has true upper rotation potential.

Mid-upper 90s heat, has touched 100 on occasion, combined with a pair of great breaking pitches and developing changeup.

The one issue with Brecht is control.

77 innings in 2023, 109 Ks, 37 hits, only 2 HRs, but also 61 BBs

Washington is already up 8-1 in the 4th.  Would love it if they bizarrely got hot in this last stretch and moved behind the Angels in draft position.

It's possible....With the lineups we are running out there, I'm not sure we'll win more than a couple of games....

Halos could tie Nats and Cards in loss column after today’s games, with Nats and Cards wins and Halos loss.

Halos have to finish with more losses than the Nats, due to the Nats having the worse record in 2022.

Conversely, the Halos can tie the Cards and still get the better lottery position.

Nah, the Nats have 85 losses, while the Cards have 84 and the Angels 83.

Nationals, Cardinals, and Angels all lost today, so no changes.  Angels still in 7th, 1.5 games out of 6th, 2 games out of 5th.

Thank you keeping these draft order standings updated @jsnpritchett.

I'm rooting for great player performances from guys that will be here longterm but we completely tank in the standings at this point.
