Anderson has pitched well of late. With days off coming wonder who halos will skip in rotation.

He chews up innings.  That’s what they got him for and that’s what he’s done.  I still think they could have got better guys but as long as he’s chewing up innings he’s not useless.  He did a nice job yesterday.

He's been burned by some weird shit at times this year, games where he allowed runs late and likely would have been pulled had the pen not been melted.  But it's worth pointing out his ERA/FIP since April 28th come in at 4.42/3.85.   He's at 4.42/3.47 since June and that's despite a fluky .345 BaBip allowed.

baseball is funny.  Sandoval has the highest GB rate (51%), so it's possible the injuries there have hurt him defensively.  But Anderson is a FB guy so, baseball being baseball.
