He was 4 for 45 after coming back from his last injury, so not exactly holding my breath for a fast start when he comes back this time.

I really hope he proves us all wrong but I don't see it. 

You can say what you want about Albert Pujols, the guy was literally a broken down 'machine' during the last half of his contract with the Angels, but dude suited up and played through injuries and tried to produce when in the lineup. 

Anthony Rendon just isn't cut from the same cloth as Albert and others who put team ahead of nursing their owies from the sidelines.

Making Shohei the Trojan horse that gets Rendon out of here would sure take a lot of the sting out of losing Shohei - LOL!

Just seems that every time he is injured, he goes on the IL for more than the minimum 10 days.

The surgeries are obviously totally understandable, but not always on the IL for the others.

Overs/unders on days upon returning before going back on the IL?   I’ll go with 3 weeks.

My feelings exactly. I think that’s obvious at this point. The other players on the team have got to see it and it can’t be good for environment in the clubhouse.
