He would’ve needed to waive his NTC, but would you guys have traded Quero for Scherzer (at $22.5M this year and next) instead of Giolito/López?

I’m not sure he would’ve waived his NTC to the Angels though.

Curious what you think the Angels have in the system to offer to get guys at all three of those positions that would actually be upgrades.

A real backup catcher shouldn’t cost much.

Thaiss is gassed, and Wallach is totally worthless at the plate.

A real 4th OF (once Trout returns) shouldn’t cost much.

Main cost would be another reliever.
