New Win Streak Starts Tomorrow Night!

We're all disappointed in the pair of 2-0 shutout losses to the Dodgers, especially after such a good week the last two. But they have 15 games until the All-Star Break and a 10 of those are against teams with <.500 records.

Go in to Colorado tomorrow and win that series, then do the same to the White Sox. While we want sweeps, I'd be okay with 5-2 in this stretch, but yeah preferably it's 6-1 or 7-0.

Then you have Arizona at home, which hopefully you can win 2, and the same for SD in SD. Finally you have another 2 game set against the Dodgers before the Break.

So 5-2, plus 2-1, plus 2-1, plus 1-1 hopefully minimum, is 10-5. That's very doable in this stretch, and they could do even better.

10-5 here puts then at 51-40 at the break, and everyone on this board would've signed up for that in March.

Down the stretch, they have 71 games, and a lot of those are tough, (6 against TB, 6 against Texas, 6 against Houston, 3 against NYY at home, 3 against Atlanta and Toronto on the road and 3 against Baltimore and Cincinnati at home).... but they also have a lot of easier games and games against teams with .500 records or around there (6 with Oakland, 6 with Detroit, 7 with Seattle, 4 against Cleveland, 3 game series at the Phillies, Mets, Twins, home against the Giants and Pirates)

They need to play as well on the road this trip as they did on the last trip except in the game that should no longer be spoken of. lol

Both the White Sox and Rockies have losing records at home. A championship caliber team would take at least 5 out of the next 7, and put the frustration from 3 of the last 4 games in the rear view mirror.
