This series has to be Walsh’s last chance before they send him down (if still really struggling).   He’s now had 60 MLB PAs after only a week’s worth in AAA.

This could be a make it break time for Walsh. A big hit or play may spark some confidence. In other words, some kind of key contribution to get his mojo flowing. Worst case scenario is leaving men on base in important situations. 

Looks like a high scoring game. If Anderson can go five and not get pounded the bullpen has the potential to keep things steady. 

First really significant series in a long time at this stage of the season. Not critical, but important. A sweep either way may indicate if the division is in play or just a wild card.
