OC Register: Logan O’Hoppe hurt in Angels’ loss to Yankees

I can't remember the last time a prospect has come up and arguably exceeded their expectations. O'Hoppe has done that and also at a huge position of need while stabilizing our biggest weakness which was the bottom of the lineup. It only makes sense he is possibly facing a big injury this early in the season.

Also, this is horrible news. O'Hoppe was a catalyst for the bottom part of the order. I have zero faith that the Thaiss/Wallach combo can ever come close to matching O'Hoppe's potential at the plate--let alone behind it. This is a huge blow.

he's way too young and raw. i know the angels have been extremely aggresive with their promotions, but i think that would be very ill advised.
