george bush is actually a pretty good painter. he was trying to capture the angels version of albert pujols, not the earlier hof cardinal player.

in that light this is a masterpiece. one can almost make out the face of a ballplayer, but the image is blury, the face lacks symmetry, and the coloration is pale and monotone. the characterization suggests a lack of depth to the subject and the larger size of the canvas makes it difficult for your eye to move on.
