Does it feel like MLB is just flat tired of Diamond Sports/ Ballys and wants them gone so that they can take over all the streaming on MLBTV and thats why they shot down Amazons deal with Diamond in their bail out attempt ? I know the artical I was reading it said that Amazon may still end up with the streaming rights but it would not be in a group deal with Diamond and it would have to done as a stand alone deal.

... and this NY Post article adds some additional color, including answering one of the questions I had in the other thread: the Angels won't be part of the Amazon Prime deal, since they're not one of the teams to which Diamond has streaming rights.
