TLDR...

Personally, I could care less about the current (Ohtani/Trout, etc...) as long as someone (or preferably a group) comes in and invests in the long term so that we can contend annually. Championships are hard, I get it. But at least be competitive. No more "shiny objects" unless it comes with a well-run infrastructure to support.

Clippers have the highest payroll in the NBA.

Ballmer wouldn’t be cheap.   Hopefully, that would extend to the FO and infrastructure.
