As stupid as Rodney’s crooked-cap look was, he was solid, for the most part. When you’re looking amateurish out there… yeah, some changes need to be made.  I would begin with sending the dude down where he belongs, at this point in time.  Need to salvage any trace of confidence he has left.  If, in the near future, this team gets a legit hitting coach, bring him back up.

I was told last week by the board experts that Marsh was a can’t miss star player.

He needs to be send down.  I want the young guys up here playing and getting as many chances as possible at this point, but a few weeks in the minors to clear his head and regain some confidence would do him some good I think.  Then bring him back up in Sept.

Brandon Marsh is a 24 year old on a really bad team who’s pressing hard in a role he’s apparently not ready for.  The book isn’t shut on him and a better organization wouldn’t have him flailing away the way the Angels have him.
