I hope he hits .179 but because he is on pace all season to get the 21 homers he ends to reach 700, they keep him in the lineup a lot. . . and then he comes up 1 or 2 short.

The really cool thing is his BA will never rise to .300, and his WAR will finish below 100. The more he plays, the lower these will go.

A little bit of tarnish on his career. We have to enjoy whatever scraps we can.

So Albert gets to ride off into the sunset, probably feeling pretty good about himself.  I think that's what many Angels fans hate.  After suffering through ten (mostly bad) years, Angels fans get to watch him call his shot and go out the way he wants to.  That's probably hard to swallow for most fans.  Personally, I'm just glad he's gone.  I'd rather not give him another thought, but that's hard to do sometimes because the baseball media has been gushing over his return to St. Louis.
