There are a lot of useless player on the roster. Hope we make serious changes after the deadline and call up the minor leaguers to at least make things exciting to follow. I have no interest in watching Guerra and/or Bundy enter this game later and "pitch" to Suzuki.

Mop-up duty for Andrew Wantz. Terrible management of a young arm with success in the minors when you have Quintana and Guerra in the pen (and almost every other person in the pen as well)

Maddon is one of the worst in game managers I have ever seen. I know he has clubhouse value and I'm not overlooking that but he's really really bad during the game itself.

Suzuki, Claudio, Guerra, Quintana....so many players who offer nothing and Minasian is apparently just OK with keeping them on the roster regardless.

When you start 4+ guys with sub 225 averages you phoned it in. Let's be honest. Garbage shit. Suzuki should never play. Ever. Lagares can't hit for shit.

This is the game @Inside Pitch refers to when he says it's not the pitching that is the problem.

Extended innings because of bad defense really can't be heaped on the pitchers shoulders. Suarez is a contact pitcher and so far that has worked against him on what should have been infield outs. All but one inning has been extended by giving Rockies the equivalent of 5 outs.

No reason not to bring up Thaiss to be the backup C and 1B. Bring Ward back up as well for defensive experience in the OF heading into next season as Eaton and Lagares aren't part of the future. Time to continue the youth movement and why not? It's worked for the rotation so far and we need to start planning next year's roster.
