Gameday Thread: Tigers @ Angels (6/18/2021): Rengifo in for Fletcher at 2B, still no Rendon

Sandoval, Suarez, Walsh, Ward, Rengifo albeit its only been a couple days....   They really would be in so much better shape if those guys can establish themselves this year.

If they carryover what they are doing now then Free Agency for fielders is a waste of time outside of a real good backup catcher.

I doubt Ward's offense is sustainable, this is definitely a hot streak but if it levels off but stays poductive then Adell or Marsh is going to have to show something really convincing to get any play time when rosters expand.

Listening to Gubi talk about CRod, he's describing a SP.   If only they were developing him as such.

i subscribe to a different theory than you, but you sure don't hide your disdain for this approach. lol.

how do you really feel, ip?

He is absolutely on a tear right now but he also went through a spell early on where he was hitting lasers and had nothing to show for it.

He hasn't looked overmatched in a long time.

Chuck Finley spent his first two seasons as a relief pitcher and carved out 3 spot starts his second season. They used him for long relief, like they have been using C-Rod.
