Yeah. Smith can't do what he did. I think Calgary takes them in 6. But I wouldn't be surprise if it's over in 5.

Manson also had the primary assist on the Girard goal. The Avs thoroughly kicked their asses but hit several posts and Bennington had a few decent saves. If the Blues can't play better than that they're the next team to waste 8 days

Yeah, I didn't watch the whole game. But, St Louis looked outmatched in the parts I watched.

And... Probably no one else who can match up with them prior to the finals.

Markstrom decided to take the night off after a tough Dallas series and a 4 goal lead.

Dang.  No touchdowns in this game.  Only field goals.

After coming back and tying it 6-6, that was a game Edmonton needed to win. You can't blow a Markstrom meltdown.

Least surprising thing in the playoffs. The highest scoring team since the 90s has managed a goal a game in the series

Am I missing something or is Markstrom having a really rough series so far? Maybe his defense could be a little better. A lot of breakaways  to deal with. McDavid is on and it fells like he's on the ice all the time. But hey, the guy looks like he's struggling and his confidence has taken a hit. I'm surprised how pedestrian he's looked.

They overplayed Markstrom during the season. He really needed them to sweep Dallas and give him a break.

'Canes have yet to lose a home game or win a road game. Can they keep that up all the way through the conference finals?

I went back and watched the goals that Markstrom allowed. He’s a huge guy who plays position. Flames allowed too many odd man rushes. Asking him to go post to post like that isn’t his game. Sutter has to be pissed about the lack of D they’re showing in this series. You can’t expect to score 9 every game. Even if it’s against Edmonton
