Next year they should just start scheduling 7 inning double headers on Sunday’s, not every Sunday, but say 6-10 a year.  Then you can start the season a week later or give the players 6-10 more days off throughout the year.  I also think there might be an opportunity to keep the 3 man taxi squad going forward, maybe the players get paid as major leaguers during that time, but don’t have to be on the 26 man roster.

I actually kind of like this... but Im also inherently against 7 inning games, so Im conflicted. I'm a little worried that the success of this season are going to be used to justify some bad ideas going forward.
