@Capital_Dave i see them scoring about 4.5 rpg, thus my number.

also, my experience with this contest over the years is that many fans tend to overestimate how the halos will perform.

but letting you know now i'll be thrilled to be wrong on the low end.

So my 6.0 rpg is too high

One thing to remember is that usually at the start of any season (first month or so), the hitters are ahead of the pitchers.

Because this season is only 60 games long, it figures that RPG at the end of the regular season may well be up across MLB from a year ago?

I knocked a few runs off my prediction due to the "Trout Baby Effect" -- insignificant in a 162-game season, but noticeable in a 60-game season!
