Well, it was bound to happen. Trump is blaming his lackluster response to COVID-19 on—you guessed it—Obama!

It sucks shit that they botched earlier precautions for this.  Specifically around testing.  But I think they went in the right direction this afternoon with the national emergency.  Right now my concern is what can they do to prepare for a potential influx of people that need hospitalization.  What can be done to get more respirators ? I hope there are good answers to these issues.  
 

be smart about trying to keep yourself healthy everyone ! Not much else we can do I guess.

This is where the federal government needs to step up.  One of the responsibilities they have is to protect their citizens.  Extended unemployment, paid sick leave, payroll tax relief are good, temporary steps.

They did a poor job preparing and handling this for sure but it doesn't mean they can't start doing the right thing now and suppress this virus before it gets out of control. Point the fingers in November but this is not the best time to do it. Everybody needs to work together and do their part.
