That fuckin Ninja Turtles game for NES fucked me up. So unreasonably difficult.

I was able to get through the swimming part, but the next part where you drive around in the van and go through sewers was complete bullshit. It always would time me out. Fuck that game.

Yeah same part for me. It's horseshit and it's basically a labyrinth.

They made it right with the sequels though.

Nintendo hard - Wikipedia
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_hard

In video games, the term "Nintendo hard" refers to the extreme difficulty of several video games that were developed and released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in the 1980s and 1990s, such as Contra (1988), Ninja Gaiden (1988), and Battletoads (1991). The term is still used to describe a certain kind of difficulty in modern video games.

That is awesome. I'm going to start using that term around the office.

My brother and I came up with "Nintendotude". That occurred often in platforming games like Double Dragon when you missed a jump on one of those blocks that popped out of the wall and then you hurled the controller and said a swear word.
