Corey Dickerson, who is a pretty good comp for Calhoun, just signed a 2-year deal worth $17M.

He was traded last July for a PTBNL and international bonus pool space. 
 

Dickerson also cost less salary (With no option to buy out) and his rate numbers were better than Calhoun’s, albeit in fewer ABs because he had been hurt earlier in the season.

Just another example of Kole’s value at the trade deadline.  Pretty much zero.

That value would have been maybe someone’s top 20 prospect.  Then people would be pissed that Eppler didn’t get more for him.
