Fan who caught Albert Pujol's 2,000th RBI ball refuses offers from Tigers and Angels

I've got no problem with the guy keeping it.

What would you want to give it back?

I think I want a ball signed by Trout, Cabrera, Simmons and Pujols

A signed Trout jersey.

Angels playoff tickets.  Whatever year but I would ask for two tics per game, per series for the next two seasons worth of playoffs.

I would also want to take batting practice before a home game.

I like all of those ideas.  I would want a suite, one of the larger ones for a game and have Albert come up and say hi before the game to whomever I bring.  Maybe an autographed jersey.

It’s silly that he didn’t get it authenticated, no matter what he wants to with it. With contracts what they are these days I see no reason why the Angels couldn’t or wouldn’t give the fan at least 100 thousand. Heck that might only get you one inning out of Harvey or Cahill.

“When Derek Jeter knocked his 3,000th career hit out of the park in 2011, the ball landed in the hands of a 23-year-old cellphone salesman Christian Lopez. Lopez gave the ball, estimated to be worth between $250,000 and $300,000, back to the Yankees shortstop.”

Not insane enough. You should watch Zach Hample’s videos on YouTube sometime. He has made a living off of catching baseballs.

That was also his 3000th Yankee hit. It’s a different memorabilia market when you do things in lifetime pinstripes. If Albert was accomplishing all of these milestones with St. louis it would probably be even more appreciated and recognized.

Yeah, all those things would be cool.

But like a total amateur, you forgot to ask for a parking pass.

A nice weekend with babes on Arte’s yacht would be on the top of my list.
