Yeah Pena's FB velo was up to 96 mph two years ago. Not sure what happened but he was hitting 88 mph tonight and was scared to throw a heater down the plate. Something is probably wrong with his arm.

thank you.  I thought I was crazy.  he threw like 14 change ups.  that was weird as hell.  maybe they had him trying something different.  hope he's not injured.

yeah.  much better although Smith doesn't block well and Pena is like a hockey goalie.  Smash them together and you've got a pretty decent catcher.
