Very disappointed that Taylor Ward didn't have a better spring and won't be on the major league roster.  It just would have been nice to see him step up and really force his way on to the roster... Oh well...

Allen, Buttrey, Anderson, Robles, Jennings, Bedrosian, N. Ramirez, and L. Garcia? 

With Cole starting the season on the DL and Jewell ready soon for a callup

I think the only benefit of Noe over Hudson or someone else is that he can be the long guy.  Someone important to start the season.

He's out of options so it was all but guaranteed.

5 full 4.1 innings and only a run.

! got slightly more  happy when Terry said Cahill had gone 5.

Then I noticed he had actually just got one out in the 5th. Still, he did OK so I'm only slightly less happy.

(I've been focusing on a news channel for the past hour or so.)

Ward wasn't very good playing the end of last season.  I have a hard time believing that he is a long term solution.
