So it seems like Bryson, Tiger and Phil are automatic for 3 of the 4 captains picks.  The last pick will be interesting, I think probably Webb.

Exactly what everyone thought happened.  Will be interesting to see the final pick, didn't realize that Webb Simpson already made the team.  Sounds like Finau is the top candidate, I think he would be a good addition.

Looking at last weeks tournament, 5 of the guys finished in the top 10.

I don't like one tournament as a sample size, but they played well coming in. Same could be said for some of the Euros.

Fair point, just worried about Phil and a couple others who cooled off big time.

Yeah, the Ryder Cup is a different beast. I think most can say the same about Ian Poulter, but he smashes in this event and hope Phil and the others can step on the gas the same way.

It should be fun, but I'm not getting up that early to watch.

All times Eastern

Match 1 (2:10 a.m.): Tony Finau and Brooks Koepka vs. Justin Rose and Jon Rahm
Match 2 (2:25 a.m.): Rickie Fowler and Dustin Johnson vs. Rory McIlroy and Thorbjorn Olesen
Match 3 (2:40 a.m.): Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas vs. Paul Casey and Tyrrell Hatton
Match 4 (2:55 a.m.): Tiger Woods and Patrick Reed vs. Francesco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood.
