Richards trade speculation

Dont get carried away.  His named is mentioned as a possibility if we drop out of the race.  That is a distinct possibility with us 7.5 back.

7 games back of Seattle in the loss column, 6 back of the second wild card which is Houston right now.

Same. I have no attachment to him. Another underperforming starter with great stuff, who has struggled with injuries.

He's not the ace we hoped he would become. He's not even close to that.

Maybe a B+ prospect? I'd be content with an 87.5% prospect, who rounds up to a B+.

Seriously I think this is still way, way premature. This team has plenty of talent, the resources to make decent improvements, and a lot of minor league depth we've yet to tap into.

Someone posted a Richards for Keston Hiura proposal the other day, which I thought was realistic. Milwaukee is gunnin' for it, and it'd compare nicely to the Darvish for Calhoun deal - a pending FA pitcher with TORP stuff and injury concerns for an infield prospect who is so bat-heavy, he may not profile as much more than a DH in short order.

This is an excellent point; HOWEVER this team needs to start playing way better than they are right now.  Offense, defense and the BP has to step it up the next two weeks to make a move.

Why does everyone assume the angels win these games. If we've learned one thing its that were consistently inconsistent. That's not the mark of a champion.
