Rape kits can only be done within about a week, so no. And DNA is gone after a shower, so no. Maybe a lewinsky dress situation, but i havent read any.

Like I said earlier, its hard enough to get a rape conviction in "good" circumstances (for the prosecutor, not the victim obviously). Woman calls PD right after screaming rape, goes to the hospital for a kit, youve got a good shot. Woman waits a week and calls, physical evidence is gone, guys defense is "it was consensual".

For cases of alleged prison rape, we send inmates out to a specific hospital that has Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs). Per policy, if the alleged incident didn't happen within 72 hours, we don't send them out.

I think it was more of a jodie foster on a pinball machine kind of theme as opposed to prison rape.
