Why am I nervous for the kid

A few things that skagg's did tonight. 

1. Changed speeds with the FB, i believe he mixed in a 2-seamer with his regular Fastball fastball

               -   2-seamer and 4 seam- 88 to 93 MPH

2. Actually used his change-up more than any other start

3. That curve was wicked, there were some that had late movement that i have not seen him throw before.

 

His Era is back down to under 3 and Xfip and fip suggest that he right along there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

did he change something this offseason? I checked his minor league stats and they sucked last year, he didn't even K that many people. However this year he's been money and K'ing almost 2 per inning..
