Seattle imploding this week didn’t matter much, with the Halos only going 3-3 at home.

Now a terrible 28-35 since the 13-3 start!   .444 baseball since then, no better than in 2016!!!!!!!

The Seattle losses buy them some time but Angels need to play better or they are going to create such a big a hole they won't be able to crawl out of it.  They NEEDED to take at LEAST 3 of 4 from a bad team like TOR at home but, the fact they couldn't do that supports that .444 record the past 63 games.

I wish I could say it's something as simple "Fire Scioscia" and it would be fixed but the collection of flotsam he has to work with makes it hard to say he had anything to do with it.  Look at the BP: Parker and Alvarez are probably the only guys you'd keep in a decent BP...Bedrosian and Ramirez are either DFAd or the last resoective men in the BP, Anderson would be in AAA, Morris, Drake, Robles, and McGuire would not be on your roster at all.  This is what Mike has to work with game after game and, because the starters can only go 5 innings, he needs to get 12 more outs from these guys.  There is no clear path, game in and game out, from a starter exiting after the 5th to Parker trying to convert the save...there is no magic formula or positioning or alchemy...the only reason these guys on the roster is because they can be optioned to AAA so a equally shitty "fresh arm" with options can be called up.  It's truly awful.

Add to that the obvious line-up holes and there is little margin for the kind of error that Anderson, McGuire or Robles exposed them to the last couple of games.

The fix is getting two, maybe three, BP arms and the offense hitting.  Angels just have to figure out a way to "get good" and fast
