From a store owners perspective, I can’t imagine they’ll be able to stay open very long if this kind of blatant theft is allowed to continue unchecked. If the store closes, that means a loss of jobs, a loss of revenue tax money for the local government, and an environment where are not going to want to visit. Nothing good will come from this.

Non-lethal force sounds like a reasonable option.

Tank, you are using logic. That’s not what our legislators and governors in California do though

this is in Massachusetts and a good example of running your revenue and business away. Tennessee is happy though

Poor Smith & Wesson company, having to move their business to better maximize profiting off death.

Lol. They will pay less in taxes now and will have better profits. The employees in Massachusetts that can’t relocate will be the ones that suffer

This is what Tank is talking about and the non criminal residents of San Francisco will have to deal with it. Although I would imagine most of them don’t care and will gladly drive outside the city to get their prescriptions as long as thieves aren’t incarcerated

It's a market.

Generally states that are convincing big businesses to relocate are offering large tax free windows. I'm not sure how healthy that process is on a national scale.

Look at film and tv.  Ever notice how a majority of movies have something to do with Georgia or Canada?

Seems states like to pick and chose what industries.

Vancouver and Georgia are huge. In the past ten years or so California has passed legislation to make it more competitive. Places like Georgia are essentially giving productions money in exchange for agreements to shoot there.

A few years ago they were saying New Mexico was going to be the new Hollywood.
