The Rangers 6, 7, 8 and 9 hitters have a combined .280 average and the Angels bottom four have a combine .215 average.

Can't image the Angels ever have had such an abysmal bottom four hitters in a lineup - even during the early years.

How does that affect our hitting? We lost our starting pitchers yes but we can't excuse our pathetic hitting. We have Trout, Pujols, Cron and Calhoun yet we are 14th in the AL in homeruns and only 10th in runs scored. 

Its not all about the pitching. We've pretty much sucked at everything.

If MLB.com stats are correct we are ranked 14th in the AL in homeruns and we are ranked 10th in the AL in runs scored. 

So the lack of pitching shouldn't be all the blame. We can't hit either.

Rangers offense  OPS+ 97
