$9 for a mixed drink which cost a few dimes to make. The same could be said for any of the concessions. Sodas at $3 which cost a few pennies to pour.

My Dad went to many A's games as a kid in Philadelphia. He was a member of the "Knot Hole Gang", started by Connie Mack. Kids with a membership would get in free to games that were not sold out.

Of course the A's were terrible in many of these years, so games were rarely sold out. My Dad's biggest thrill was seeing Bob Feller pitch several times at Shibe Park when the A's were playing Cleveland.

This is a really good time for the Angels to suck. I've got a soon to be 4-year old and he doesn't give two shits when the Angels win or lose. I can take him to games in comfort.

She's better looking than anything at our concessions.  In fact if she's in her 70s or 80s, she'd still fit in at our concessions.

Can you find the actual turnstile count for the first two games of the season or send me the link to find out?  I was at opening day and it seemed like a pretty large crowd, partly do to it being opening day and partly because the Cubs are America's sweetheart this year.
