This is the worst the Angels have been in a long, long time. This lineup is laughable, it's hard to keep busy when you usually follow the team closely all summer. 

 

The sad part is how there isn't really a light at the end of the tunnel.

Yeah, I usually watch all 162 games, but it's hard to follow the team this season.

He not a cleanup hitter, he the chump who hits 4th in the lineup.  There, that should be good for a home run.

There's a Kevin Cron in AA for Arizona who's hitting .226. Did we acquire him?? He's a big guy, goes 6'5" and 245. 

That has to be the explanation.

I guess I do not know enough to understand how a lineup this bad can occur if Scioscia has had so much influence on the franchise's decisions during his tenure.

I can understand how a franchise can decline to eventually field a horrific team through years of turmoil but Scioscia has been with the Angels for a long time.

Pay no attention to the man behind that curtain. Scioscia is a Hall of Fame manager and it's a pure coincidence that his teams have been so disappointing year after year. We won the World Series in 2002, shouldn't that be enough?
