If I was a ballplayer I would steer the hell clear from the Angels Organization completely, especially if I was a pitcher.

This is bad, bad news. Almost not supeising, but still.

Hope for the best and all, but this is what killed my optimism all offseason. The depth is far too low, both in pitching and offense. I get being conservative with your money, and not going over budget. But thats when you have a farm to plug holes with.

Why are fans high on Skaggs? In the two years before coming back to the Angels he was in 5.+ ERA, then 4.+ ERA with the Angels. Now coming back from TJ surgery I can't really believe he can be better and help the Angels much this year.

Because he's a lefty who throws 94 and is only 24 years old. 

He'd be the Angels number 1 prospect if he was still eligible.

Recovery is actually closer to 18 months. So if he has TJ surgery he's not just done for 2016 but would be lucky to pitch in 2017.

Doctors have assured Angels that Andrew Heaney's ulnar collateral ligament is healthy. Initial hope is that he gets right again with rest.
