Anyone have a Significant Other with conflicting political/worldviews?

Neither my wife or I see any value in voting. We do argue about who should be hated less though.

My wife is a citizen of a country with politicians so corrupt they make Illinois governors blush but when it comes to policy she's generally more conservative than I am. Except when it comes to her personal budget.

My wife doesn't care about anything political. I have to practically drag her to the polls. She always asks me how to vote on the props.

When we first got married, she registered as a democrat and I as a republican so that we could get voting information from both sides for each election. So far, so good on this idea.

This is a real paradox in my house. The wife hates Obama, she buys off on all of the birther crap, but she can't stand Republicans and what they are trying to do to the country.

It's probably good that he doesn't...not for him...for me. I just can't help antagonizing him in the hopes he melts down and when his aorta eventually bursts I'm going to feel guilty. Last time I think I was able to accomplish that in 30 minutes or so.
