Too bad he never really could hit as an Angel. He was such an amazing outfielder and a fun player to watch. I visited my grandfather in Palm Springs during the 1989 Spring Training and saw half a dozen Angels games. Devo was my favorite player to watch (I also saw a 19-year old Griffey play).

LOVED devon white. He was one of my first "favorites".

Never turned into what we hoped (like joyner before him), but he was a fun guy to watch.

We suck at developing 3Bs and a few other spots, but weve had some pretty badass CFs to come through here over the years

I wasn't upset nor am I miserable.  This board is strictly a form of entertainment for me.  You'll never see me posting any angry posts addressed to anyone specific.

 

I was trying to be witty by stating something that I could fit in the name of one of their songs titled "Through Being Cool."  I guess it didn't catch on the way I thought it would.

looking at his BR page, was kind of suprised to see his leaderboard results. Had a few years where he was a top WAR guy, tops power/speed combo, etc. Bourjos reminded me of him. Bat wasnt the greatest, but speedy CF, phenom glove.

over rated. all that speed, he struck out too much and didn't put the ball on the ground so much. I expected more from him. beast defense though
