No. I've talked to multiple people that told me they thought it was stupid. It's only got a 50% on Rotten Tomatoes. I think the movie's great. As, I assume, you do too.

Raw Deal did not age well. Commando aged a bit better.

Commando is great because its totally 80s.

The bad guys were perfect. Mac from predator "i like this car". Sully, the freddie mercury in a chainmail wife bester look alike. The guy on the plane that looked like that guy from cleveland that rescued that kidnapped woman a few years back.

Arnold assaulting an island with 30 rifles strapped to his chest. Why bring one with extra ammo when you can just bring a bunch with just a little ammo? And still killed people with yard tools.

The fact arnold could smell bad guys.

Killing freddie mercury with a pipe, and telling him to let off some steam.

The scene on the island where Arnold is running through the middle of the courtyard shooting what looks like 300 bad guys without getting shot is so beyond unbelievable and hilarious.  And let's not get into the car crash where in one scene the car is totaled and then the next scene the car is unscathed.

There is no disputing that Commando is a terrible film but that doesn't exclude someone from liking it just because.

In all honesty i like it, just because its a movie from when inqas a kid (and im a sucker for 80s movies). But yeah, its a horrible movie.

Well, this thread is about liking bad movies and I get that.

 

I guess I was compelled by my total dislike for that movie to make my post.

Hot Tub Time Machine got shit reviews but it's probably my favorite movie of all time.

 

 

It is a great comedy. As is Saving Silverman. Got horrible reviews, but is one of my all-time favorite comedies.

It is definitely entertaining.  Not one of my favorites but if it is on HBO I usually keep it on.
