Wholeheartedly agree. Even before that hit I was of the opinion that they should try to re-sign him. I don't see many realistic options better than him at 3rd base. His defense isn't great but his approach at the plate and knack for clutch hits is something this offense could use next year if we're going to have a realistic chance of building an effective offense.
