this is probably the least enjoyable regular season I can remember.  

 

95 was heart breaking but at least it was exciting in it's own perverse way.  

 

watching these players underachieve has been brutal.  but the tease factor is what has really made so painful.  

 

plenty of chances and slight inkling of hope followed by a turd.

In any case the first two pictures tell the story of the season. Trout is out and watching Pujols and when he is out they are both looking at Aybar to save the day.
