So, the next time the Angels start Iannetta can we please not complain. This is like 7 straight starts for Perez and he will eventually need a day off. Oh and we will win.

 

From a Jeff Fletcher article:

 

"Carlos Perez started at catcher for the sixth straight game and eighth time in the last nine games. It’s unusual for Scioscia to use one catcher that much, regardless of performance. Scioscia said Chris Iannetta is not hurt, but that Perez has 'flat-out won more playing time.'"

 

Also some updates on Shoe. Johnny G, and Green.

Pujols batting 4th? F'n Sosh.

Same lineup with Pujols and Trout transposed would be best. It's good to have the better base stealer batting ahead of the better hitter.

Iannetta has been considerably worse than Mathis (at least Mathis with the Angels... Miami Mathis still has a lower AVG)

Mathis was worse than Ianetta are you kidding me. Mathis never had an OPS over .590. Ianetta is at .596.
