How does one calculate that return on investment? He's essentially paying Josh $68MM to shove a bat up his (Arte's) cornhole (and not in the fun way.... Or so I'm told)

 

Moreno's handling of the Hamilton situation this year was pure idiocy. He clearly has no problem operating for an entire season with a 24 man roster (see: Matt Joyce), he could have simply kept Hamilton on the roster but ordered Scioscia to never use him in games.
