Ha! Awesome!  We moved to that section this year.

You'll like 412. As an added bonus, this section has some of the widest seats in the Honda Center. A lot of people don't realize that seat widths vary by over 2" throughout the arena. It doesn't sound like much, but you'll really notice it.

Its not much of a stretch considering Granlund(39 points in 2015) is supposely to be Minnesota's 1st line C despite Koivu having better overall stats.

Rakell on Minnesota would likely be ahead of Granlund on their depth chart based on Rakell scoring alot with little ice time & being bigger than Granlund who's undersized at 5'10

Wild are by far the weakest at Center in the NHL.

Granund plays much tougher minutes for Minnesota than Rakell does for Anaheim. Rakell couldn't handle Granlund's role yet.

and I'd say Arizona has the worst group of centers. They have Hanzal... and that's pretty much it, unless Strome makes the team but I think he'll be back in the OHL.

Player Projections anyone ?
Yes slightly biased but several guys are in their prime (Getzlaf/Perry/Kesler) & several are on the rise Lindholm/Rakell/Silf/Vatanen.

With a healthy Perry, Getzlaf & Perry's numbers should go up. Perry had 33 goals in 67 games so 42 in 82 games next season is realistic.

Getzlaf 28G/55A

Perry 42G/36A

Silfverberg taking a step forward means Kesler probally sees a increase in points even if slightly.

Kesler 24G/27A  -  Silfverberg 20G/30A  -  Hagelin 21G/20A

Rakell 15G/30A  -  Stewart 15G/20A  -  Cogliano 18G/18A

Santorelli 13G/22A  -  Maroon 11G/23A  -  Sekac 12G/12A

Lindholm 9G/35A

I wish I could find a casino with the Ducks at 10-1...when I was in Vegas in July I bet the Ducks at 9-1 at the Westgate when they were 8-1 everywhere else.  11-1 on 5dimes would be unreal...online sports betting needs to be legal and it's ridiculous that it isn't.  This is the Ducks year!

Yep. The Blackhawks are going to have a Hangover season from winning it all like the last 2 times they did, plus they sold off half their roster.

Blackhawks will be back after this season.

In todays NHL I would always bet against the team that won the CUP, they never repeat anymore.

The Ducks had the talent last year to win it and didn't get it done, no team in the West is going to be more motivated than the Ducks.  If we don't at least make the cup finals this year I would consider it a disappointing year, and I'm normally never that way.

Along the way to the Cup we can joke about the Sharks, they are on the way down to possibly a lottery pick if their goalies don't hold up.

Should be Ducks, Flames, Kings, Canucks, Sharks, Oilers, Yotes.

I will laugh if the Oilers finish ahead of the Sharks which wouldn't surprise me given the age of Thornton/Marleau & uncertainty of their goalies.

All those years they were on top of the Pacific & just choked on it.....the Presidents trophy team that lost to the 8th seed Ducks and then the 3-0 series lead on the Kings & losing the series. Why they still have Thornton is crazy, he's the worst leader.

Those are very optimistic numbers for Hagelin.

I agree with most of those, but I think Maroon will be closer to 40-45 points, and I think Rakell will still be around 35. I think in a couple years Rakell will be a 55 points or so type of guy.

It would be awesome though if Getzlaf and Perry had massive years and one of them won the Art Ross. Watching Perry win the goal scoring title in 2011 was so fun. I think it's possible if they get the powerplay back up and running, because they're already two of the best even strength scorers in the league.

I like Hags, but he is by far the worst finisher I have ever seen. He misses the net constantly.

He will lead the league in empty net goals though

That's fine, but he finished with 17 goals and 18 assists last season.  20/20 is not a reach if you ask me.

Hags does great on the PK, and his speed is to die for, but by the all star break you will be ready to choke him for not cashing in on more breakaways.

I like Hags and the Ducks, so I wish you all the luck, but be prepared,

What can I expect from Etem?
