Ryan Kesler officially given the 2nd "A" 

 

He deserves it.  Not that it will affect it much.  Really the C and the A are so that when the zebras make a stupid call, they are the one's that go talk to the and idoits.  In the locker room, regardless of if he had a C or A on him, he talked and got respect.

New Anaheim Ducks Members Seem To Be Clicking With Team At First Practice

 

 

 

Anaheim Ducks begin training camp a deeper team with high expectations

They are going to run away with the Pacific.

Calgary or LA will finish 2nd.

 

I dont believe the Sharks will be in contention, they could be in line for the #7 draft pick.

Sharks goalies are too questionable & Marleau/Thornton are getting pretty old.

Hertl is proving to be a 1 hit wonder.

 

The Stars once again are all offense and no defense & their goalies are questionable yet again.

They brought in Oduya but one guy doesn't fix a defense, Dallas's other D-men are offense first, defense later.

Picking up a goalie who was declining with the Sharks isn't much improvement.

 

Coyotes in line for the #1 pick.

I am all in on the Ducks this year.  Got them at 9-1 to win the cup.  I'll be in Vegas again in October and if I can get 9-1 or better I'll lay more on it.  It's the year of the quack!

Theres a ton of talent on this Ducks team this year.  Im still wondering how we managed to get Hagelin.  I hope we have Silfverberg on the top line this year to complement the twins.  I think right now the one big question mark is how much will the young D men improve.

Gibson is going to spend the year in San Diego from what I'm reading. Makes sense. Give him full playing time and let him develop. Make a nice run with Freddie this season and get a monster haul for him next offseason perhaps.

True, its also a good deal cause because it avoids him signing for more money after this season.

If he didn't sign & as has great numbers if/when he's called up, he would then ask for more money per year.
