Albert Pujols Needs to Retire

every time i see pujols up with runners in scoring position, he grounds out.

that false stat again- RBI's. appears the guy has a really hard time picking up runners.

i guess i just want the team to win. myself being a dinosaur from before advanced stats, fantasy baseball and all.

the guy looks pretty bad from my standpoint. but has REAL good stats.

There are no advanced stats that says Pujols is any good with runners on base and he is worse with runners in scoring position this season.

Outside of Vladdy and Tori how successful has the Angels been with big free agent signings.

As for Pujols, if he retires it frees up money for the Angels to sign someone who would actually (somewhat) earn his salary.

I actually forgot about Puig, or at least haven't thought of him in awhile. He hasn't played since April 24.

 

He re-injured his hamstring during a minor league rehab game. There's no hurry in bringing him back because Ethier is filling in just fine.

I'm naive. I make pretty good money and at some point I'll retire. Why wouldn't a guy who's made $100's of millions retire? It's about perspective.

On what planet? Freese has been a disappointment, hitting no where near what he hit in STL, Salas is meh and Bourjos is on his way to a fantastic season. Could really use him in left about now.
