Considering what the Seahawks have accomplished over the last so many years without having star receivers I'll give them the benefit of the doubt but it's still a huge risk.  I know statistically he was having a quiet season but his presence lining up as a receiver or coming across for a hand off was still something opposing teams had to defend against.  They get out of paying his salary going forward but they no longer have Tate either and will be relying even more than last year on their D and run game.  If any team in the NFL can do it on a strong run game and defense it's them but I definitely wasn't expecting to see him moved.

That and he's overrated and always hurt. The Vikes made out like bandits in that deal...but at least Seattle was quick to recognize the errors of their way and were able to dump him off to some desperate team

The Rams aren't as bad as people think. They played tough vs Niners and now seattle. They have one of the better d lines in the league. Took a hit though with long out for the seasons.

The Seahawks don't look interested in this game as well.

Seattle looks to have lost their edge. Even if they win this game, that is the wrong division to become complacent in. They need to find that chip on their shoulder again.

Matthew Stafford and the Lions offense looks downright horrible without Calvin.

Of course they are. Just like last week.

 

They lost by 14 points last week. They only score 3 points after the first quarter. They did not "find a way to lose" last week. They just had 1 good quarter.

 

If the Rams find a way to give up 9 points in 5 minutes today, then that would be "finding a way to lose".
