New this fall from ESPN: The Derek Jeter Network. All Jeter, all the time. Every cable and satellite system will be required to put this on Channel 2. Any television station currently using that number will have to change.

Yeah not quite understanding the hate for the guy. Like it or not he has been the face of baseball over the course of his career and deserves to go out this way. Only thing that has sucked about his goodbye tour was that Paul Konerko got no attention to his retirement.

I don't hate him I hate the attention he is getting right now. And how the world of baseball should evolve around baseball. And if the game rains out that Baltimore should be forced to play so Jeter gets his fair well. Absurd

I don't hate him either, but this so-called "farewell tour" has given us Derek Jeter all season long as he travels into each city for the final time and each team brings forth gifts for a man who helped to beat them for the last 20 years - not to mention a guy with so much money that he can't possibly need anything..
